The nation is slatedto shut down all of its nuclear powerfacilities between 2022 and 2025under existing legislation. However,this schedule could change withthe formation of a new governmenttoday, with caretaker Finance MinisterAlexander De Croo named as the newprime minister. Belgium has not had afull government since December 2018,when a four-party coalition collapsed.
