IAEA to review Japan's regulatory system

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has started a peer-review mission in Japan to assess its regulatory framework for nuclear and radiation safety. The agency's Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) mission to Japan will take place between 11 and 22 January, the IAEA said in a statement released on 8 January.
