METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING ERROR IN CHOUON AND SOKUON AND PROVIDING FUNCTION OF FINDING A JAPANESE ALPHABET IN JAPANESE INPUT UNIT BY USING JAPANESE ALIAS DATABASE

A method and a system for reducing error in prolonged sound and short sound and providing function of finding a Japanese alphabet in Japanese input unit by using Japanese alias database are provided to reduce input error. Japanese inputted from a user of a terminal device(200) is received as a first query. In case a short sound is included in the first query, the short sound is transformed to a prolonged sound. A second query is obtained. The information corresponding to the first query and the second query is searched in database. The searched information as described above is displayed in the terminal device. In order for implementing various input modes about the intrinsic entry, the alias database(350) builds all kinds of matching information into a database. A letter matching unit(320) obtains the inputted Korean or the Japanese terminal matched for the Roman character from the Korean alias database or the Roman character alias database.
