On the Clausius-Mossotti-Lorentz-Lorenz Formula

摘要

A problem of the local field inside a matter is treated and a review of existing literature is presented. It is shown that the Clausius-Mossotti-Lorentz-Lorenz formual has a local nature in spite of the fact that it relates the mean and local fields, which appear due to long-rnage action of Coulomb forces.
