W G Bagnall Ltd of Stafford in England was a locomotive builder that built an iconic reputation, both while the company was in business and also since its demise. Bagnall built mainly smaller locomotives for industrial and shunting use, although they did build main line locomotives, principally for India. Perhaps it was the variety of designs they built that made Bagnall locomotives so fascinating.
