In the week leading up to Mini Fair, on 27 January, we had a few readers checking if the show was still happening as snow had covered the Midlands area. Thankfully the event did go ahead as planned. Although a flooded road, near to the Bingley Hall venue in Staffordshire, caused a few Mini owners to seek an alternative route. Mini owners bounded into the hall in their thousands, eager to top up on autojumble and new parts for their Minis, and to meet up with friends. Many had even made the long journey from Europe. It felt a bit like a winter IMM. As usual there were many traders in attendance to persuade us to part with our cash and we bought a few bits for MiniWodd project Minis. British Mini Club put on a fab display of Clubmans, ranging from Estates to rally cars.
