I am planning on changing the standard 4.5×12-inch wheels on my Mini to a set of wider 6×12-inch alloys. I am aware that I need to cut the front arches to obtain clearance for the larger wheels but I am unsure what to do about the front bumper, as it seems to be right in the affected area. Do I need to fit a different bumper of the type fitted to Sports Pack Minis?
