Effect of Mo on phase transition temperature of VO2 nanopowders

摘要

A facile method to prepare Mo doped VO2 nanopowders was introduced. Using V2O5 as a rawnmaterial and molybdenum acid as a dopant, the precursor was obtained by redox. Then, dopednVO2 nanopowders were produced through heating the precursor at 500uC under an argonnatmosphere. The as obtained samples were characterised with powder XRD, X-ray photoelectronnspectroscopy, TEM, differential scanning calorimetry and the temperature dependence ofninfrared spectrum. The analyses indicated that the products were Mo doped VO2, and its phasentransition temperature decreased by molybdenum acid doping, but the efficiency of the dopantnwas weakened with the increase in its content. After doping, the optical property of VO2 did notnchange.
