Our infographic below spotlights operator spending on two key environmental compliance areas: ECO engines (IMO Tier II and Tier III) and Ballast Water Technology Systems. IMO's BWM Convention is set to come into force on September 8, 2017 (although a revised schedule for installing an approved BWM system effectively pushes the date for compliance by two years to 2019).
