摘要

This recently published paperback is, in essence, the proceedings of a conference hosted at The Walsall Leather Museum and organised by the Archaeological Leather group on the topic of "Have we got a tannery?" The work mainly concerns early tanneries although there is an absorbing chapter recalling former Leeds, Yorkshire tannery buildings.
