摘要

Aiming at enhancing the localization accuracy of wireless sensor networks, a new localization algorithm is presented in this article based on Annulus Intersection and Grid Scan (AIGS). Simulation experiments have been performed to compare the AIGS algorithm with some range-free localization algorithm such as the centroid algorithm, the DV-hop algorithm, the APIT algorithm, the APIT-T algorithm and so on. It shows that the AIGS algorithm has better localization accuracy than these localization algorithms without increasing the cost of communication and computation. Experiments have also been done to evaluate the effects of two key parameters on the AIGS algorithm. Through analysis about the comparisons between the AIGS algorithm and other range-free localization algorithms, and the conditions of itself, it is concluded that the AIGS algorithm can effectively carry out the localization of wireless sensor networks.
