Determination of Alpha-Amylase in Malt by Segmented Flow Analysis Using Potassium Ferricyanide

Repeatability coefficients of variation for the determination of α-amylase by segmented flow analysis (SFA) using potassium ferricyanide ranged from 1.5 to 4.6% and were judged acceptable. Reproducibility coefficients of variation for the determination of α-amylase by SFA using potassium ferricyanide ranged from 46.1 to 51.2% and were judged unacceptable.
