TiO2 nanowire (NW) array based visible light detectors with silver (Ag) Schottky electrode have been fabricated. TiO2 NWs were synthesized by glancing angle deposition (GLAD) technique. The device conduction was examined. The current suddenly jumped to 10 mu A under halogen light illumination from 100 nA dark current for the applied potential of % 5V. The visible light photo detection within the range of 432-488nm was observed at +10V applied potential at the top of Ag electrode. The device showed very quick response under halogen light on/off irradiation with rise and fall time of 2.5 and 2 s respectively. (C) 2015 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
