Organisational capabilities for innovation: a case study on the management and transactional capability

Innovation is an increasingly present topic in academic, business and governmental discussions. In the competitive economic context where companies operate, there is constant need for reinvention and search for new alternatives to keep minimally competitive in the market. Thus, it is important to understand what differentiates innovative companies as such and which existing capabilities drive innovation in organisations. Therefore, the present work is a qualitative case study that identifies and analyses the contribution of management and transactional capabilities to generating innovation in an innovative company in Brazil.
