Ultrafast All-Optical Pattern Matching Based on Differential Spin Excitation

摘要

We propose an ultrafast all-optical pattern matching scheme using differential spin excitation. Exclusive OR operation of a comparator using this scheme is experimentally confirmed for single optical pulses, and all-optical pattern matching is demonstrated for 100-Gb/s 16-bit optical packet.
