摘要

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of talent management on organizational learning capability and to examine the mediating role of intellectual capital. Data were obtained from all employees (225) of a Ports and Maritime organization. One hundred ninety-four questionnaires were returned, yielding a response rate of 86.2%. A mediation model was outlined and tested employing structural equation modelling. The results showed that talent management had a significant effect on organizational learning capability and intellectual capital. The findings further demonstrated the significant effect of intellectual capital on organizational learning capability. In addition, the mediating role of intellectual capital was confirmed. The current study enriches existing literature on organizational learning capability and emphasizes the key role of its enablers: talent management and intellectual capital. This study suggests that employees should be considered valuable recourses to enhance the learning capability of the organizations and Human Resource Development (HRD) professionals should invest in the effective management of talent through which an agile learning environment can be created.
