A Super high-speed vehicle system for the superconducting magnetic levitation railway

The running test of the superconducting magnetic levitation (maglev) railway is planned on the Yamanashi Magley Test Line, from the spring of 1997. Three vehicle bodies and five trucks for the first formation have already been delivered and completed. Hitachi have joined the design and manufacture project of the trucks and vehicle bodies for the second formation, which will utilize the manufacture experience of the first test vehicles.
