Optimism was the basic tenor during this year's annual shipping symposium to which the Hamburg company Hansa Treuhand had invited the 10th time. The speakers substantiated this with a future worldwide growing exchange of goods. For an example, in 2025 the port of Ham -burg expects three times more cargo volume than in 2010. According to a study, this is due to a particularly dynamic development of trade lanes in Northeast and Southeast Asia. Also for the Eastern European trade an increasing volume is expected.
