摘要

A GIS extension is developed to prepare input parameters for and visualize outputs from the BATHTUB lake/reservoir water quality model. The extension operates within the ArcView GIS. It can be used to delineate model elements, define element relationships, calculate element parameters, and create a model project file. The extension facilitates the use of the BATHTUB model, which in turn contributes to the decision-making process concerning lake/reservoir water quality management in agricultural watersheds of the U.S. Midwest. Applicability of the extension is illustrated through a case study for Clinton Lake in Kansas.
