A peelable lidding film has been introduced for ready meals that removes the need for cardboard sleeves, while delivering cost savings and reducing packaging. The Lidd - developed by HH Global with Parkside Flexibles (Europe) - uses a two-layer laminated film that seals the product. Branding can be printed on the upside and nutritional information on the reverse.
