EFSA looks at impact of climate change on Aflatoxin B1

The European Food Safety Authority has launched a call for a study on the potential increase in cancerrncausing aflatoxin Bl in cereals in the EU due to climate change.rnEFSA will pay up to €250,000 a year for the study which will look at crops such as maize and wheat to predict what the future contamination of these crops with Aflatoxin B 1 is likely to be.
