Application of the image analysis methods for the estimation of the ice and snow coverage of power transmission lines

摘要

In the paper the use of image analysis for the thickness estimation of the ice and snow coverage of power transmission lines is proposed. The requirements influencing on the accuracy of obtained results, as well as the methods of cameras' calibration based on the a priori knowledge related to the objects visible on the acquired images have been analyzed. An algorithm of the line extraction and estimation of its thickness, together with example results, has been presented as well as the potential use of the super-resolution method for the increase of the estimation accuracy.%W artykule zaproponowano wykorzystanie techniki analizy obrazów do oceny grubo?ci oblodzenia i pokrywy ?nie?nej przewodów energetycznych. Przedstawiono algorytm ekstrakcji linii i estymacji jej grubo?ci wraz z przyk?adowymi wynikami, a tak?e potencjalne mo?liwo?ci wykorzystania techniki super-rozdzielczo?ci do poprawy dok?adno?ci estymacji.
