PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of behavior analysis of a power transmission line.SOLUTION: A power transmission line behavior analysis device, which analyzes dynamic behavior of a power transmission line by a finite element method, has functions of: constructing a power transmission line as an aggregate of a plurality of elements; calculating time history of each of the plurality of elements in a first period when first external force is applied before calculating time history of each of the plurality of elements in a second period when the first external force and second external force other than the first external force are applied; and gradually approximating the first external force to prescribed external force corresponding to 0 to gravity in the first period, and keeping the first external force at the prescribed external force in the second period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
