As the clock ticks on, any electronics company worth its salt is doing all it can to ensure its products, processes and business activity are ready for 1 July 2006, when RoHS legislation transforms lead-free in Europe from a nice marketing message to a legal obligation. EM&T spoke to Leon Dixon of EMS provider Jaltek about compliancy.
