This book is authored by two of the leading writers on educational leadership and management who firmly espouse the importance of improving school leadership and management as a means to enhance the quality of education. The symposium that follows draws upon the perspectives of four UK professors of Education, each of whom offers a review of Hoyle and Wallace's text. The symposium as a whole offers some fascinating insights into the contribution this book makes, the thinking it stimulates and the questions it leaves unanswered.
