TheAtmosphericcorrosionisaphenomenonweseeeverydayinourenvironmentthatarisesduetoenvironmentalpollutionwegenerate,thereiscurrentlyverylittleinformationonatmosphericcorrosioninthedepartmentofBoyacáandingeneral,inColombia.Theaimofthispaperistoanalysewhichofthesetwoenvironmentsismoreaggressiveandwhereinthesteelcorrodesfaster.ToanalysethesephenomenonspecimensmadeinsteelSAE105exposedforfivemonthstotheatmosphereinthemunicipalitiesofTunjaandNobsa(anurbanatmosphereandotherindustrialatmosphere)wereinstalled,acontrolwascarriedtoverifytheamountoftimethatwillbeexposedeachofthesesamplestotheatmosphere,ofThusitmaydeterminethelifetimeofastructuralsteel.Fortheanalysisofthesesampleselectrochemicaltestswerecarriedouttocalculatetherateofcorrosionandresistancetopolarization,alsothegravimetricmethodbeconductedtocomparewhatwastheamountofmasslostduringthetimeofexposuretoeachofthesamples...
