Inthiswork,wehaveproposedandexperimentallyvalidatedofhybridelectromagneticandtriboelectricenergyharvesterusingdualHalbachmagnetsarrayexcitedbyhumanhandymotion.Hybridelectromagnetic(EM)andtriboelectric(TE)generatorthatcandeliveranoutputperformancemuchhigherthanthatoftheindividualenergy-harvestingunitduetothecombinationoperationofEMandTEmechanismsunderthesamemechanicalmovements.AHalbacharrayconcentratesthemagneticfluxlinesononesideofthearraywhilesuppressingthefluxlinesontheotherside.DualHalbacharrayallowstheconcentratedmagneticfluxlinestointeractwiththesamecoilinawaywheremaximumfluxlinkageoccurs.Whenanexternalmechanicalvibrationisappliedtothehybridstructureintheaxialdirectionoftheharvester,thesuspendedmass(twosideddual-Halbach-arrayframe)startstooscillatewithinthemagneticspringsandTEGpart.Therefore,theTEGpart,theAlfilmandmicrostructurePDMSfilmarecollectedintofullcontactwitheachother,generatingtriboelectricchargesduetothevarioustriboelectricitiesbetweenthem.Aprototypeofthehybridharvesterhasbeenfabricatedandtested.TheEMGiscapableofdeliveringmaximum11.5mWpeakpowerat32.5ΩmatchingloadresistanceandtheTEGdelivering88μWpeakpowerat10MΩloadresistance...
