Cunninghamella bertholletiae and Mucor sp. in paranasal sinuses. Report of two cases

摘要

We present two cases of mucormycosis diagnosed in two health centers of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The rinosinusal form was diagnosed in 2 patients, who were presenting diabetes mellitus. One of the patients was treated with Fluconazol and sinus nasal surgery, whereas other with Fluconazol. Mycologycal, histopatological and image tests confirmed the diagnostic.
