According to engineering and technical staffs’ requirements in inter-multidisciplinary domains collaborativeproduct design, design process modeling method and conflict resolution algorithm are both put forward. The actual needsare deeply analyzed for multidisciplinary collaborative product design. By means of a third-party data file conversionformat-.3D, a collaborative design mode and its framework structure are respectively presented based on a product sharingview model. For the design schemes of multiple users’ collaborative activities process, a conflict resolution algorithm ofdesign requests is also implemented. Finally, based on the J2EE architecture, a lightweight virtual network environment isdeveloped to support collaborative design process, and its application validation work is also discussed. The feasibilityand effectiveness method and architecture proposed have been also testified reasonable.
