摘要

The article focuses on the functional state of the respiratory system of schoolchildren aged 7-14 years, residing in the 30km area of the Nuclear Power Plant. It also defi nes the age correlation of respiratory system functional state and respiratory illnesses of schoolchildren under observation, stating the dependency of illness rates on the remoteness from Energodar. In conditions of heightened radiation hazard the preventive aftertreatment of children and teenagers of preschool and junior school age is especially important. Duly preventive and medical provisions allow to stop pathological changes.
