To educate and teach one’s art to someone is one of the mostnoble attitudes within human relations and was emphasizedbyHippocrates in our celebrated oath:“Tohold the person who taught me this art in as muchesteem as my own parents; to make my life in commonwith him and,if necessary, to share my assets with him; toregard his children as my own siblings; and to teach themthis art, if they should need to learn it, without remunera-tion and without any written commitment.”Thedegree of recognition of this demonstration of civismand love is generally small and poor.
