The Study of Parents’ Attitudes Toward The Status of New Method of Physical Education Course In Iranian Elementary Schools

The main objective of this research was to study the attitude of the elementary schoolstudents' parents in Tehran concerning the present status of physical education courseon elementary schools. For this purpose, the personal characteristics of 300 individualswere randomly selected from among the parents whose children studying at publicelementary schools in Tehran, Iran. Research method was a descriptive and the datawere gathered through field method. In order to collect information, a self-madequestionnaire including 18 closed questions was used. After doing data analysis, theresults indicated that the parents’ attitudes toward the physical education lesson werepositive. There was a significant differences attitud between the view of parents ofstudents about the new methods of teaching.
