Theeffectoffourwhite-slicedbreadbrandsonthequalityperceivedbyconsumersthroughhedonicresponsewasstudied.Ablindtestandatestincludingbrandinformationwerecarriedoutwith50consumersusingascalefrom1to7:"Iextremelydislikeit"(value1)andnbsp;nbsp;"Iextremelylikeit"(value7).Datawereanalyzedusinganalysisofvariance(ANOVA)andDuncanTest.TheIndividualvariabilityofconsumerswasevaluatedusinginternalpreferencemapthatexplainingthevariationof70.4%fortheblindtestand63.5%forthetestwithinformation.Consumershadapositivecorrelationwiththefirstprincipalcomponent,indicatinghighergradesfortheXbrand,indicatingtheeffectofbrand.nbsp;Analysisofhierarchical-ascendingclassificationgeneratedthreeclustersintheblindtestandfourinthetestwithinformation.Genderandageofconsumershadaneffectonthehedonicresponses./font
