Bilinear switched-current ladder filters using Euler integrators

The authors discuss the implementation of exact simulations ofnpassive filters by switched-current techniques, using the bilinearntransformation, but avoiding the use of true bilinear integrators. It isnshown that the synthesis can be easily done directly usingnswitched-current Euler integrators, without passing through annintermediary switched-capacitor filter. The method is exemplified fornlow-pass filters built with “second-generation” Eulernintegrators
