摘要

A novel material, poly(N-vinylimidazole)-zinc complex, is prepared to simulate the zinc active site of carbonic anhydrase. The obtained complex can separate CO_2 efficiently. Enzymes, biomacromolecular catalysts, facilitate the biochemical process efficiently. For example, carbonic anhydrase (CA), an enzyme found in animals, plants, and bacteria, plays a key role in organisms. It can catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide quickly, and the maximal turn-over of CA is in excess of 10~6 s~(-1), and thus makes it the fastest catalyst for CO_2 hydration.
