PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a composition of zinc pyrithione and ultrafine zinc oxide powder, a composition of zinc pyrithione/zinc oxide complex compound and byproduct zinc oxide or a composition of zinc pyrithione/zinc oxide complex and byproduct zinc oxide each has a drawback that both components are liable to separate because of large difference between their absolute specific gravity; also they are eluted too fast from the coating film as to an antifouling agent for ship bottom paint. PSOLUTION: It has been found that the problems can be solved by making these compositions to carry silicon oxides such as microparticle amorphous silica, zeolite, clayey materials, silicates and water glass.
