A CALL TO THE HALL

I'm due to pick up a new crew member, Nigel, at Rugeley on the Trent & Mersey Canal in a couple of days so I've a little time to do a spot of sight-seeing. A very short one-and-a-half-mile cruise to the Anglo Welsh boatyard in the basin at Great Hey wood enables me to top up fuel and water and a little further, on there's a mooring where I can stop overnight and also take the opportunity to visit Shugborough Hall which is only a short walk away.
