NZ Bus dewires Volvos

Go Wellington, the NZ Bus-owned operator serving the New Zealand capital city, withdrew its last Volvo B58 trolleybuses on the morning of 16 November.rnThe last of 68 ordered by Wellington City Council in 1979 and delivered in 1981-86, they have been replaced by 59 new Designline trolleybuses ordered in 2006. The Volvos, with Brown Boveri Corporation electrics, were bodied by Hawke or Coachwork International, the company created when Hawke and New Zealand Motor Bodies merged part way through the contract.
