Stork pilots set a course for id interoperability across Europe

Stork has made six pilots available for public access. The Stork project sets out to implement an EU-wide platform for interoperability of electronic identities (elDs) via electronic cards or 'other means'. In a separate European elD development, German citizens have this month started to receive ID cards containing biometric details, which will allow them to identify themselves on the internet and to authenticate digital signatures.
