'Christopher Wheatley'

The Chicago Fire Department in April took delivery of a new fireboat, the 'Christopher Wheatley', which was designed by Canadian company Robert Allan and built by Hike Metal Products of Canada. The fireboat, which will have a crew of five, was designed and built to operate year-round in Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and surrounding harbours, often in icy conditions.
