"Apprenticeships are a clear sign that we as a company are ready to invest in the future of our business, the industry we're part of and the clients we serve. We care about the level of qualification in the industry and we see apprenticeships as a great way to tailor a person's skillsets to meet the requirements of the business and the industry overall," says Daniel Lee, managing director of Hewshott International in the UK. "It's clear that there's an issue across the industry with people ending up here 'by accident' rather than through structured training and development and we're looking to do our bit in addressing that. We're looking for enthusiastic minds that are driven enough to learn new skills - people with a good work ethic who are able to work and excel as part of a team," adds Lee. "Additionally someone with a good basic educational foundation is key. While we can teach the technical aspects of the industry, the right aptitude and attitude to learning and delivering exceptional service to our clients is essential."
