Ford plans Romanian small car

Ford has bought a 72.4 per cent stake in a former-Daewoo factory from the Romanian government. The OEM paid €57 million for the Craiova plant.rnThe OEM plans to use the site as a low-cost production centre for a small car. The factory will eventually buildrnmore than 300,000 Ford engines and vehicles a year -around 90 per cent will be for export.
