Panasonic AIS Company Improves Halogen-Free IC Substrate Materials

Automotive & Industrial Systems (AIS) Company, Panasonic Corporation, has developed the MEGTRON GX Series halogen-free IC substrate materials that have achieved a low coefficient of thermal expansion of 1ppm/℃. It significantly suppresses the development of warpage in thin IC substrates that are incorporated in smartphones and tablet terminals. Compared with the company's previous products, the MEGTRON GX Series has reduced warpage of IC substrates by about 30 percent.
