The effect of tension-free vaginal tape placement on distal anterior vaginal wall support at the time of laparoscopic sacral colpoperineopexy

Purpose The occurrence of stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse can often coexist resulting in the need for concomitant surgical procedures to treat both conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine if tension-free vaginal tape (TVT®) at the time of laparoscopic sacral colpoperineopexy (LSCP) had an effect on distal anterior vaginal wall support.
