Robin Dods: Selected Works by Robert Riddel sets a new benchmark for architectural publication in Australia. Beautifully designed and richly illustrated, the book is a testament to decades of research by Riddel and photographer Richard Stringer. Born in 1868, Dods died at the early age of 52 yet has more than 200 works to his credit, of which some 34 are in this publication. In his foreword Clive Lucas compares Dods with Edwin Lutyens and Charles Voysey. He had firsthand experience of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, and corresponded with such luminaries as Sir Aston Webb and Norman Shaw.
