HERITAGE OVERLAY GUIDELINES CHRIS GALLAGHER

2007 sees the introduction of two initiatives which the Heritage Council believes will improve heritage planning decisions.Together with Heritage Victoria, the Heritage Council has published a new set of guidelines to primarily provide support for local councils but also to assist others working with the Heritage Overlay, including architects.The Heritage Council has also amended its own hearings protocols to allow direct questioning of expert witnesses.
