More about the spread of values of parameters of a synchronous machine found from a sudden short-circuit test

The reasons for the spread of values of parameters of a synchronous machine found according to the standard procedure form a test of its three-phase sudden short circuit (SSC) are analyzed. The conclusions of the analysis are confirmed by the results of computer modeling of a three-phase short-circuit. Suggestions are given for refining the standard procedure.
