ObjectiveSleep problems are common in adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The presence of sleep problems at the time of presentation for ADHD treatment could impact the level of improvement in ADHD symptoms or executive function occurring with ADHD pharmacotherapy.
