Health Law in New Zealand edited by Peter Skegg and Ron Paterson

Skegg and Paterson edited the first edition of , which was the recipient of the JF Northey Memorial Award for best law book published in 2006. It was recognised as the definitive text on New Zealand medical law since Justice Collins’ 1992 text . The second edition of Skegg and Paterson's text has a different title –   – which captures its new, and broader, approach to this specialist area of law. In addition to the updated chapters on traditional medical law, the second edition includes sections on important and burgeoning topics such as public health law, intellectual disability, and coroners.
