ObjectiveMetformin reduces cancer incidence and improves overall survival in diabetic patients. In preclinical studies, metformin decreases endometrial cancer (EC) cell growth by activation of AMPK/mTOR inhibition. We sought to determine the effects of metformin on serum/tumor biomarkers in women with EC.
